About Me
I am a fully qualified Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP). I trained in Birmingham Trust for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (BTPP). I have extensive experience in working with children and young people in the NHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Clinic), educational settings and social care settings in the UK.

The ACP is the main professional body for psychoanalytic psychotherapists working with children and adolescents in the UK and is registered with the Professional Standards Authority. The ACP is recognised by the Department of Health for accreditation of training in Child Psychotherapy throughout the United Kingdom. I am accredited to work with infants through to young people up to the age of 25 years.

In addition to my private practice I also work as a senior specialist child and adolescent psychotherapist in West Midlands Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), where I am the Under Fives Clinic Lead.

My professional interests include infant mental health, perinatal mental health, children in the care system and adopted children.
I strongly believe that early interventions with children and young people can have a significant preventative value.
